Hi team,
I’m excited to let you know that I’m looking to broaden my work as an independent evaluator. With over ten years of experience in the arts and culture sectors, I’ve built up a solid background in evaluation and am eager to apply my skills to new projects.
Recently, I’ve been evaluating the Holmfirth Arts Festival (2024) and Barnsley Youth Theatre’s Creepy Campfire Tales (2023). This work led to me being appointed as a trustee of Barnsley Youth Theatre, which I’m really pleased about. I also work with the Tricolor Collective as a Senior Evaluation Consultant, where I evaluate large-scale national heritage projects. Additionally, I’ve been involved in preparing funding reports for both large and small funders, including Comic Relief, Arts Council England, and various local authorities.
I’ll soon be working independently with The Art House in Wakefield on a Baring Foundation-funded project. This role will involve both research and evaluation, and I’m looking forward to diving into this.
My approach to evaluation focuses on providing practical insights that help organisations understand their impact and enhance their work. Whether it’s in arts, culture, theatre, or heritage, I aim to offer clear and actionable feedback.
If you’re working on a project and need someone to help evaluate its effectiveness or assist with funding reports, let me know, and do let your pals know that I'm here too. This is often the bit of the work that people want to avoid or find stressful, whereas I am a real nerd for it, and I'd be more than happy to take it off your hands. Get in touch!
